Timber Door Technical FAQ

For conservation advice or bespoke specifications, contact our Bordon technical team on 0345 470 1977.

Absolutely. Our Glyngary timber doors are engineered with multi-point locking systems and anti-snap cylinders. They are PAS 24 verified and meet Secured by Design standards, providing contemporary security within a traditional timber frame.

Traditional timber can move, but our use of Accoya® wood virtually eliminates this issue. Accoya® is modified at a molecular level to be dimensionally stable, meaning your door will not stick or warp, regardless of the British weather conditions.

Yes. As part of our complete solution, we handle structural works such as widening openings for French doors or creating new entrances. Our team manages the planning, lintel installation, and final Building Control sign-off.
